Booking Policies & Client Agreement

Where Beauty Meets Professionalism

Thank you for choosing A Beauty X The Beat for your beauty experience! To ensure a luxurious, professional, and seamless appointment, all clients are required to review and agree to the following policies before booking.

1. Booking & Deposits

A deposit is required to secure all appointments.

Deposits are accepted ONLY through Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal.

Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your booked service and deducted from your remaining balance.

Deposits are non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the cancellation terms below.

Appointments are not confirmed until your deposit has been received and your booking has been approved.

2. Cash-Only Payment Policy

CASH ONLY is accepted for the remaining balance on the day of your appointment.

Cash App, Zelle, and PayPal are accepted for deposits only, not final payments.

Please arrive with the correct remaining balance in cash.

All outstanding balances must be paid before makeup application begins.

Gratuities are appreciated but never required.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or request rescheduling.

Deposits are non-refundable if a client cancels or fails to attend an appointment, except where otherwise required by law.

One rescheduling request may be accommodated with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

Rescheduled appointments must take place within 30 days of the original appointment.

Additional rescheduling requests require a new deposit.

If A Beauty X The Beat must cancel your appointment and cannot provide the agreed service, your deposit will be refunded.

4. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Please arrive on time and ready for your scheduled appointment.

A 10-minute grace period is permitted.

Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the deposit, subject to applicable law.

No-shows automatically lose their deposit, subject to applicable law.

A new deposit will be required for future bookings following a no-show.

5. No Extra Guests or Children

To maintain a peaceful, sanitary, and professional beauty environment:

NO EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED.

NO CHILDREN ALLOWED unless the child is the scheduled client receiving a service and arrangements have been approved in advance.

Only the person receiving the scheduled service may enter the makeup area.

Clients requiring disability-related assistance or another legally required accommodation should contact us before booking so appropriate arrangements can be made.

6. Appointment Preparation

Please arrive with a freshly cleansed face, free of makeup whenever possible.

Avoid applying heavy oils or skincare products immediately before your appointment.

Please inform your makeup artist of any known allergies, sensitivities, or skin concerns before application.

Arrive with your preferred makeup inspiration photos, if applicable.

Additional services not included in the original booking may incur an additional charge, disclosed before the service is performed.

7. Health, Safety & Sanitation

Professional sanitation practices are maintained for all makeup tools and products.

Services may be postponed or declined when an active contagious condition or other health concern presents a safety risk that cannot reasonably be addressed.

Clients must disclose known product allergies or sensitivities.

A Beauty X The Beat cannot guarantee that every cosmetic product will be suitable for every skin type.

Any adverse reaction or discomfort should be communicated immediately.

8. Travel & On-Location Appointments

Travel appointments must be arranged and approved in advance.

Travel fees, parking, tolls, and applicable accommodations are separate from makeup service fees unless otherwise stated in writing.

All travel-related charges will be disclosed and agreed upon before booking confirmation.

A safe, clean, adequately lit workspace must be provided.

Travel bookings may require a separate written agreement covering transportation, accommodations, cancellations, and scheduling.

9. Service Changes & Additional Charges

Prices are based on the service selected at the time of booking.

Upgrades, additional looks, or extended appointment time may incur additional fees with client approval.

Bridal parties, group appointments, and extended travel services may require separate contracts.

No undisclosed additional charges will be applied.

10. Photography & Social Media

Before-and-after photographs may be requested for portfolio, website, or social media purposes.

Client permission must be obtained before photographs are published or used for promotional purposes.

Clients may decline promotional photography without affecting their booked services.

11. Satisfaction & Service Concerns

Clients are encouraged to communicate their preferences during makeup application.

Reasonable adjustments within the originally booked service will be addressed during the appointment whenever possible.

Concerns should be raised before leaving the appointment so they can be evaluated and addressed.

Any refund request will be reviewed based on the services provided, the circumstances, and applicable law.

12. Respectful Conduct

All clients are expected to treat the makeup artist and the studio environment respectfully.

Harassment, threats, abusive behavior, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.

Services may be discontinued when necessary for safety, subject to applicable law.

13. Booking Agreement

By submitting a deposit and confirming an appointment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to A Beauty X The Beat's booking policies, including payment requirements, cancellation terms, punctuality expectations, and guest restrictions.

A Beauty X The Beat reserves the right to update its policies for future bookings. The terms disclosed and agreed upon at the time of booking will govern that appointment unless changes are mutually agreed upon.
